What Makes IISER Programmes Unique?

According to the IAT 2026 website, undergraduate programmes at IISERs are designed to blend classroom teaching with hands-on research experience from the early years. Students get to study on fully residential campuses with access to advanced research facilities. The curriculum encourages interdisciplinary learning, and dual degree students complete a year-long research project that leads to an MS thesis.
